What a view

I'm back from my week away, had a lovely time. We went to Cardigan in Wales. The weather was very changeable but not too bad.
This was our view from the cottage patio doors so there was lots of staring out at the ever changing view. It was tidal so changed quite a lot.
We visited lots of lovely beaches. This was taken on the best sunny day!
This is an amazing unset over one of the beaches, that I manged to capture, quite pleased with the photos of it.
I did manage to find one craft shop while away which was good. I did buy a few bits I wanted. I thought I haven't done much stapling on my layouts so I bought a new stapler with coloured staples.
I also found a market which was selling these gorgeous buttons, I could have bought loads, I love them!!
On Sunday my mum cooked a yummy Sunday lunch, my nan, brother, sister-in-law and nephew came around. It was great to see my nephew as he started walking while I was away. He is now getting around everywhere so everyone will need eyes in the back of their heads!!
Hope you're all enjoying the bank holiday.

Curly

Here's a quick layout to share with you I made a couple of days ago. Another one of my nephew, Rowan. It was the Twisted sketch no#010 which I flipped. It turned out quite different to the sketch in the end. I used the fab Cosmo papers.I made curls in the edge of paper to match the photo and title.

I'm off on holiday on Saturday for the week, so lots of packing to do!

The One

It all went really well with my nephew, Rowan's partys, he had a great time with all his favourite people around him. They were really nice, everyone enjoyed them. I just can't believe he is a whole year old, how time flies!
This is the card I made him.I helped make cupcakes with him on Thursday ready for his party and we made loads! They looked really good decorated and tasted great too! This is his cupcake. Here is the little chap he looks so cute in this photo!
For his party on saturday I made him a surprise birthday cake, everyone loved it, there wasn't a crumb left! I was really pleased with how it turned out, I just made a plain traybake and cut out a one and then covered it with buttercream and stars.

So I now have lots of lovely photos for scrapping! I'll be back soon with more.

Hot Air

We sat on a hill on Saturday evening near the balloon fiesta to see the mass flight over the city which was nice but it was a bit dissapointing as we couldn't get into Ashton court grounds to see the night glow. They had closed all the carparks so we did eventually park on the road and we were going to walk in but a lady that was coming out said it was a long way to walk so we decided to come home as it would have been too much for me. Shame as it was what we really wanted to see. Everybody went as it was such a nice day. Anyway here are the balloon we did see! It is great to see so any in the sky at the same time.

In other news I made a small order which came. Bit and pieces really, wish I could spend more but waiting for more of the CHA releases to come out!

I've got a busy few days coming up as it's my nephew's first Birthday. I going over to help him and his mum make cupcakes tomorrow for the little party they are having on friday for his little friends. I've been asked to help out with that. My sister and brother-in-law are staying for the weekend. And we having a family bbq on Saturday for my nephew too. So busy, busy. His present is now finished, I'm really pleased with how it turned out. I will photograph it and let you see it when I get the chance!

Misty

My order arrived of these lovely things! Cosmic shimmer mists, I have wanted to get some for a while now but I been very good and not bought anything for ages so I thought it was about time I treated myself!! I've had lots of fun playing with them, it's great how much you can do! Here's my first layout I've done with them. I used the purple mist and lots of glitter and sparkle. It's also the twisted sketch #008. The twist was to use a flower so I used loads of them and even got the glitter glue out!
The patterned papers are Basic Grey's Euphoria range, I love these colours their my favourite! The photo is of my mum, godmother and I at my brothers wedding. I have been wanting to scrap this photo for ages but I couldn't think up a title for it. In the end I just went with 'Smile' as we all have happy smiles on our faces!!

I've been busy working on another project for my nephew's birthday, it's going well. I will show you when it's finished!

I'm going to see the hot air balloons tomorrow and the Bristol Balloon fiesta It's really great to see. Hopefully we are going to see the night glow where the balloons fire up to music. Fingers crossed the weather will stay nice. I will hopefully bring you some pics soon!
