Hi! I'm still here, still scrapping just haven't been posting here lately. Anyway thought I would pop in and share a layout I did recently for my nephew's scrapbook. Its a 8.5 x 11" (near A4) size layout of my nephew's passion for tractors!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I really wanted to try the paint drips on the background, it went ok for the first attempt but I think I need to try it again.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhA5acR1MDFkM6c3ER44H6kGC1j2oA3wkxA4Xw2EF_bxDrsyBHVTlZicKdBpkz3LxIJ8bj505NDRq_W56P7EkfQTbatLE510J75D_IA6385TTg5xZIHfQN5Jlpg5lMY_bhVWU-LGHIJObU/s1600/Tractormad2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1225" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhA5acR1MDFkM6c3ER44H6kGC1j2oA3wkxA4Xw2EF_bxDrsyBHVTlZicKdBpkz3LxIJ8bj505NDRq_W56P7EkfQTbatLE510J75D_IA6385TTg5xZIHfQN5Jlpg5lMY_bhVWU-LGHIJObU/s640/Tractormad2.jpg" width="488" /></a></div>
I found some tractor paper in my stash so I had to cut two out to use as embellishments, I raised them up on foam pads. I like the bright colours but added the black here and there to it to tone it down little, I like how it looks.<br />
<br />
Thanks for stopping by! I have made quite a few layouts but haven't shared them so here's one I did for<a href="http://thestudiochallenges.blogspot.co.uk/"> The Studio Challenges</a> a while back when we joined up with Stick it down. They provided us with a sketch and we came up with the challenge of using a song title.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Heres the layout I created using the sketch, the photos are of my nephews stick fishing. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The fish actually started out as a mistake as I got some paint over on that side of the layout which looked out of place so I added the fish on the string and then made my own little fishing rod to go down the other side. Quite pleased with how it turned out in the end.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
For the title I didn't know many fishing songs so I Googled fishing songs and thought Just fishin' fitted quite well.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Here's a layout I did for my nephew's album, of him and his mum.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgcThUw0Bwg_ErcADhGH9CBzcVcWUZr3XZl7mM1qMIwE4j9cHD_YdekXWTKwhiPQD9bTZIgBGADJdQpuWYeAwDJ52T_qsaJuNLS6ChgNICEmnmBEdBLQSQp2Hp3pbv_ojPR6mj1UAJh8OQ/s1600/thelookoflove2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1243" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgcThUw0Bwg_ErcADhGH9CBzcVcWUZr3XZl7mM1qMIwE4j9cHD_YdekXWTKwhiPQD9bTZIgBGADJdQpuWYeAwDJ52T_qsaJuNLS6ChgNICEmnmBEdBLQSQp2Hp3pbv_ojPR6mj1UAJh8OQ/s640/thelookoflove2.jpg" width="496" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Quite a quick layout but Im pleased with how it turned out.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I used green watercolour on the background with blue splatters, I layered bits behind the photo and punched out some tiny hearts and hand cut the title love from some patterned paper then added letter stickers and journalling.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

It's a double! It's a rare occurrence lately but sometimes you just have so many lovely photos from one event it has to be done!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8aBlzfPYcNkOipT1iY4BjMx1J3Sg6OEYmk4XJKnR0qSEb0zZIZlUIEFB6zDDgtUnsyMmUN0Xiinx1sytyqAg0Ni-U8_MNo6JcROrwybqbbvawnsOMGAA6uRTYaVDh-3gBoql8ZpEemjo/s1600/DSCN077511.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="802" data-original-width="1600" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8aBlzfPYcNkOipT1iY4BjMx1J3Sg6OEYmk4XJKnR0qSEb0zZIZlUIEFB6zDDgtUnsyMmUN0Xiinx1sytyqAg0Ni-U8_MNo6JcROrwybqbbvawnsOMGAA6uRTYaVDh-3gBoql8ZpEemjo/s640/DSCN077511.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
When I went to Madeira's Flower Festival a couple of years ago it was so bright and colourful I took hundreds of photos, I was really pleased with lots of them. It was really hard to pick just these and actually I think I could probably do another double layout with more!<br />
I wanted the photos to shine so left the layout quite simple, using a couple of stencils to pick out the colours, a strip of floral paper (a favourite of mine) to go across the bottom of both pages with a thin ribbon, lovely glittery Thickers and bright flowers at each end to finish.Annahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10656401607918487782noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6607776768419385278.post-17833700973927976192017-06-11T11:34:00.000+01:002017-06-11T11:34:13.027+01:00Autumn Table Setting<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I made this layout quite a while ago now and I haven't shared it so I thought it was about time. I did it from one of the challenges from <a href="http://thestudiochallenges.blogspot.co.uk/">The Studio Challenges</a><b>.</b> We had a picture of a <a href="http://thestudiochallenges.blogspot.co.uk/2016/11/20th-nov-table-setting.html">table setting</a> to inspire us.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjiuAeCKrwpmLggRn5X1s92uywjgJ5JCzoFbk0HR-i44-OsHKtpQV8PD2aq66iZ2LE1SwimlHKuaL4yJdc6XrWm02v24XDmchRmjn8k925o_xE7Q-9ugvaKhT14XHE9UJtDzWyjBjmJQP4/s1600/AutumnWalk3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="634" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjiuAeCKrwpmLggRn5X1s92uywjgJ5JCzoFbk0HR-i44-OsHKtpQV8PD2aq66iZ2LE1SwimlHKuaL4yJdc6XrWm02v24XDmchRmjn8k925o_xE7Q-9ugvaKhT14XHE9UJtDzWyjBjmJQP4/s640/AutumnWalk3.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 23.3567px; text-align: start;">I loved how inspired I got when I really looked at the table setting, it really said autumn to me. I picked the colours for my layout from it, the bit of green from the moss in the picture etc, I used Thickers the same texture and colour of the throw and blind, a bit of black with white pen like the blackboard, a wide ribbon that's similar to the place mats and a wooden button from the cushion in the table setting!</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Quite pleased with how this turned it. I have more layouts to share, hopefully I won't leave it that long next time!</div>

I had this photo printed off for years waiting to be scrapped but I think I got a bit scared to do it as it the last photo I have of me and my grandad together. I was a complete Grandad's girl I loved him to bits so the photo means a lot to me. I came across the photo again recently when I was sorting my stash and I thought I just have to do it as it needs to be in my album. I was a bit worried my layout wouldn't be good enough for it so I decided to go quite simple and let the photo speak for itself.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0GF7rWu3mDRThdUQJVUJI0kD6zhMqOOhJvl2SDmoRYMAnO39-GAE6t30uk8Kf1EUdGxM734ySV6yJTmdYTW5Z9afRfrB-CFk5JO6WgSVCbCFFKDuM1fwNzOmbg9K5pJylpe2tIKZNOT8/s1600/Grandadsgirl4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0GF7rWu3mDRThdUQJVUJI0kD6zhMqOOhJvl2SDmoRYMAnO39-GAE6t30uk8Kf1EUdGxM734ySV6yJTmdYTW5Z9afRfrB-CFk5JO6WgSVCbCFFKDuM1fwNzOmbg9K5pJylpe2tIKZNOT8/s640/Grandadsgirl4.jpg" width="634" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The layout started with the photo and title that I hand cut out of some paper I know my Grandad would of loved as it was his favourite colours and it also went well with my top in the photo. I then just used the same colours in the mist in the background and the embellishments I used, the star or flower shapes were also hand cut from of another old sheet of patterned paper I had.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
In the end I'm quite pleased with how it turned out and it is so nice to have it in my album at last!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Thanks for looking xx</div>

I joined in with <a href="http://thestudiochallenges.blogspot.co.uk/2016/07/31st-july-multiple-photos.html">The Studio</a> again this Sunday as our challenge was to use multiple photos on your layout. I like using lots of photos at times when you have too many nice photos to choose from and I think they can tell the story without writing too much journalling. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhY4WWhJPKht2cc222_wi3HPyfkpMF2dJPogP7SmH0V920ENzIHm3vmu1ym8gZgASCG6C8qjnO5U1z6Ce8RnkmDTCrKTjW1EU13fyqOL_MlCm3jUZ5wgZC_y6FlQBWwcjnD7L4RfEQnlc0/s1600/BucketandSpade1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="634" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhY4WWhJPKht2cc222_wi3HPyfkpMF2dJPogP7SmH0V920ENzIHm3vmu1ym8gZgASCG6C8qjnO5U1z6Ce8RnkmDTCrKTjW1EU13fyqOL_MlCm3jUZ5wgZC_y6FlQBWwcjnD7L4RfEQnlc0/s640/BucketandSpade1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I love these photos I took of my little nephew on the beach with his gaint bucket!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I when with quite a simple design but I went with a brighter background, I always go for white cardstock as I love how it make the colours and patterns of the papers stand out. But I like having different colour backgrounds in my albums as all white can get a bit boring especially in a child's album so I challenged myself to use a coloured one. I went with this green to match the spade in the photos. I did take the easy route though and used white paint on it! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I have got another layout to share so I'll be back soon when I edit the photos of it!xx</div>
Annahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10656401607918487782noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6607776768419385278.post-23353499921374848812016-07-22T12:23:00.000+01:002016-07-22T12:23:20.192+01:00Summer<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Hi, popping in with another layout to share. I joined in with <a href="http://thestudiochallenges.blogspot.co.uk/">The Studio Challenges</a> again on Sunday as our theme was <a href="http://thestudiochallenges.blogspot.co.uk/2016/07/17th-july-summer.html">Summer</a>. Summer says to me sunny days and holidays so I went with a photo I took in Croatia on holiday last year. I used inks on the background, blue to look like the water in the photo and a bit of yellow to brighten it up. I did a bit of mixed media treatment on it again with some stenciling, stamps and paint splatters.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjFiA2xkNnsLpPygDjkIycIj_MgV3uCUG2hJuZ-0A4p-29FCuS1KlHFMefTqvInNKw_9VwCs-7mIvIy5CB6pcXEEYjNqLT6JrFWqMnHDhoTuNXugX3oaPOjgo_R0x47X-vMrOCeopxa52o/s1600/DSCN8493126.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjFiA2xkNnsLpPygDjkIycIj_MgV3uCUG2hJuZ-0A4p-29FCuS1KlHFMefTqvInNKw_9VwCs-7mIvIy5CB6pcXEEYjNqLT6JrFWqMnHDhoTuNXugX3oaPOjgo_R0x47X-vMrOCeopxa52o/s640/DSCN8493126.jpg" width="632" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I will let you into a little secret, it wasn't going to have the blue border around this page but I was sticking something down and the paint splatters weren't quite dry and didnt realise and I got black paint on my hand and then I touched the page... eek nightmare! Anyway it was lucky it was on the edge so I could cut it off and add the background border to it, luckily I had the right colour to match! In the end I think it helps the layout so disaster avoided!</div>

Just popping in to share a 8.5" x 11" layout for you today. Quite a simple one but I think it works with the brights colours. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I got a sheet of Simple Stories, Let's Party paper, which I loved but found the elements were a bit on the large side to use as it was so I cut out the banner, bunting and balloons from it to use and raised them to make them stand out. <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3Apczo-lXssNbZ5fs3Q1ELab8ttjBe60A1AXDH9VEOJyjw_DzhGIyEg-F1mNaff_q4Lt0gtwy9b0Y2O2Uc2D0MP2795WHsILnWJa5hR5dznhK29WNt8ZNVyZU9zvEj-GUhz-UfreGoVA/s1600/DSCN80951.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3Apczo-lXssNbZ5fs3Q1ELab8ttjBe60A1AXDH9VEOJyjw_DzhGIyEg-F1mNaff_q4Lt0gtwy9b0Y2O2Uc2D0MP2795WHsILnWJa5hR5dznhK29WNt8ZNVyZU9zvEj-GUhz-UfreGoVA/s640/DSCN80951.jpg" width="488" /></a></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The photos are of my nephew's first Birthday party, <span style="text-align: center;">I love how the colours from the paper match the colours in the photos. </span></div>

</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
At <a href="http://thestudiochallenges.blogspot.co.uk/2016/05/22nd-may-mood-board.html">The Studio</a> this week we have a great <a href="http://thestudiochallenges.blogspot.co.uk/2016/05/22nd-may-mood-board.html">mood board</a> that <a href="http://lydiascr.blogspot.com/">Lydia</a> from my design team made, it has a lovely summery feel to it. I decided to join in with the design team this time, make sure you go and check out all their layouts too, they did a great job with it and there's lots of inspiration.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
For this layout I had fun making a mixed media background with water colours, stamps and a bit of acrylic paint.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6CexyMVYGny2bNxAu0EwNi2HdbCAJNdaYcNJcgwiXF12mmiJ7bIIVFucyv2UeYgY8YsBtzlXBDta-vl3P8IfMP8Lo4XE3rTKiVEU8bDxDKRrN_7lf1tL-6Zi71S3-t4GkRdKpQTWYkQk/s1600/Alittlerayofsun.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6CexyMVYGny2bNxAu0EwNi2HdbCAJNdaYcNJcgwiXF12mmiJ7bIIVFucyv2UeYgY8YsBtzlXBDta-vl3P8IfMP8Lo4XE3rTKiVEU8bDxDKRrN_7lf1tL-6Zi71S3-t4GkRdKpQTWYkQk/s640/Alittlerayofsun.jpg" width="628" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I stamped the flowers and used watercolours to colour them, I raised them up to give a bit of height and so they stand out a bit more. The photo is of my gorgeous little niece, she really is a little ray of sunshine and I really love this photo I took of her so it was an easy choice for this mood board.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_TPHOCIykaOXxrQBkSc1plWRkMzgG8eX7zFgB5PuUBqzb5AXCRsMKcSn_ywY0U6ucmOi2LrJyw2-JfZEhBHGL1rfgisOa2eE9ZZnblDkLWPP2rhBYuI3yDDATHQuh_CklwZhscf450V0/s1600/DSCN81651.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_TPHOCIykaOXxrQBkSc1plWRkMzgG8eX7zFgB5PuUBqzb5AXCRsMKcSn_ywY0U6ucmOi2LrJyw2-JfZEhBHGL1rfgisOa2eE9ZZnblDkLWPP2rhBYuI3yDDATHQuh_CklwZhscf450V0/s640/DSCN81651.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
You got to love a bit of gold sparkle with these lovely glittery Thickers! </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
No patterned paper was harmed in the making of this layout!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I'm really pleased with how this layout came out and this is only the second layout featuring my niece so it was good to get another done for her album too. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
There are more layouts to come, back soon xx</div>

Hello Blogland! I'm back! I have still been creating I just fell out of blogging about it! Thought it was about time I added something though and I found these photos in my drafts that I never posted. They are now quite old (apologies) as they are things I made for when my niece was born a year ago now! There does time go?!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I thought you may like to see them though. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
First up is the cake I decorated to celebrate the birth of my neice, the cake was my sister's top tier of her wedding cake that has been in the freezer never since so that made it extra special.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_CIhHg2JpwFKvuccadTuUryshUR7Ha3xBZ0kZuDPEzzjNQrLLbqeYjwPTQ3aJp-mAIRVYXwmDGC1LWesFs9521reijeU73RIdGrbBI6OfzWnHYRmfDhrdH-SjIC5HrSJPfRYwipnEWjA/s1600/DSCN4513.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_CIhHg2JpwFKvuccadTuUryshUR7Ha3xBZ0kZuDPEzzjNQrLLbqeYjwPTQ3aJp-mAIRVYXwmDGC1LWesFs9521reijeU73RIdGrbBI6OfzWnHYRmfDhrdH-SjIC5HrSJPfRYwipnEWjA/s640/DSCN4513.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I loved decorating it as it was girly and usually I have to do boy cakes for my nephews!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I had great fun piping that grass and making flowers, butterflies and baby clothes etc.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEij3e7rAfpBVn-fvflEcyrLD-6Wz_yxYU69JZLSUH0WsTyPmECBdJE5wyvrig_klq-4FsjMm91ukTStDiW7d89qAa5UBVRnqlzdKNkXVyL-hh9CMB2AapO-120pgxIkgMKThuWHEng9ayQ/s1600/DSCN4516.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEij3e7rAfpBVn-fvflEcyrLD-6Wz_yxYU69JZLSUH0WsTyPmECBdJE5wyvrig_klq-4FsjMm91ukTStDiW7d89qAa5UBVRnqlzdKNkXVyL-hh9CMB2AapO-120pgxIkgMKThuWHEng9ayQ/s640/DSCN4516.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Next up was the blanket I crocheted for her this is not the best photo to show it off, but difficult t get the full thing is a photo!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEheTs_XXwyMc1iYw8vXrc8QOvhuywSdZ21QGBksb63eg5Vbicw-GFR3Ib1I5JirmR1uIw5RnX8j_bUIni6rbN4QyqSEh9KpH2enx_cZSGLSiFjaTfQ2rGfkta15wFYoypCyJ2k0MqWSL2U/s1600/DSCN4543.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEheTs_XXwyMc1iYw8vXrc8QOvhuywSdZ21QGBksb63eg5Vbicw-GFR3Ib1I5JirmR1uIw5RnX8j_bUIni6rbN4QyqSEh9KpH2enx_cZSGLSiFjaTfQ2rGfkta15wFYoypCyJ2k0MqWSL2U/s640/DSCN4543.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Here's a close up of all the different stitches. I didn't have a pattern I just made it up as I went along. Love these colours, when I started it I didnt know if it was going to be a girl or boy so the colours were good for both. I only just managed to get it finished in time luckily it was only a pram or cot size blanket!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0g3Vtu-DwcVr5JGPA5IJsT8y9KO1wl-4oipVV6Tm8dL0Q_ACtX139bkd2sEZqI6fgnFR3mwGhQAdIP9i9NeCXsHygtYYEcDG9BPJ9gBqdoAAtA9zmrXYZOQl1eRQXzbtfGbBymvo5qHU/s1600/DSCN4550.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0g3Vtu-DwcVr5JGPA5IJsT8y9KO1wl-4oipVV6Tm8dL0Q_ACtX139bkd2sEZqI6fgnFR3mwGhQAdIP9i9NeCXsHygtYYEcDG9BPJ9gBqdoAAtA9zmrXYZOQl1eRQXzbtfGbBymvo5qHU/s640/DSCN4550.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
And here is the bobble edgeing that I did around it to finish it off.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Really pleased with how it turned out and my niece has got a lot of use from it which is good!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

The first layout of my gorgeous little niece! It's great that after 3 nephew's I can finally get all girly!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I started using some pink paint and a sponge to create the background, I then added some stamping and some green drops of paint around it. I added a doily and matted the photos, added a stripe of pretty paper which I cut with decorative scissors and then highlighted the edge with paint. I then clustered shapes under the edges of the photos.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlDikbEqJrhuC8lqWN6FiphxwnlgLYgVhtOt4K5tNJ9l40RQdsSwBTQYb88eSxhTVrqvOLnp2Asvr7K3urcLIY88bBjyvt9Tl4FDMgxryxf3yW_OCabc7_cI3E9Z5crLo8YWxe3ipCRq0/s1600/DSCN64904.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="634" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlDikbEqJrhuC8lqWN6FiphxwnlgLYgVhtOt4K5tNJ9l40RQdsSwBTQYb88eSxhTVrqvOLnp2Asvr7K3urcLIY88bBjyvt9Tl4FDMgxryxf3yW_OCabc7_cI3E9Z5crLo8YWxe3ipCRq0/s640/DSCN64904.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I also used one of my handmade yoyo's as the colours matched really well</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I look forward to creating a lot more girly pages!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

There is so much I want and need to scrap so I really do need to get my scrap on again!<br />
<br />
Here is a layout I made for my nephew's scrapbook, it is of him having a lovely time on the beach and yes, the sand did end up going in his mouth, nice and crunchy!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-xbVyIEnCbhUENBwKnJe56xv59_CZpHJMmuiaJI3KWNi2uf2e4M_OSS7VRo6wGHt5VMW8t3ZS9SUFbL-CPcXvcY5uz7jnjjj6LqmQa_IlXZfpdRQJn0jEMLlXy7mfT0VZV35I1s1Xzlk/s1600/DSCN6434.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-xbVyIEnCbhUENBwKnJe56xv59_CZpHJMmuiaJI3KWNi2uf2e4M_OSS7VRo6wGHt5VMW8t3ZS9SUFbL-CPcXvcY5uz7jnjjj6LqmQa_IlXZfpdRQJn0jEMLlXy7mfT0VZV35I1s1Xzlk/s640/DSCN6434.JPG" width="488" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Quite simple but I think I got away with it! I will be back with another layout that is currently on my table and just needs finishing off soon.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Hope all is good with you, if you visited here please leave a comment and I will try give you on back.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Thanks for stopping by! xx</div>

</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Sunday's challenge at <a href="http://thestudiochallenges.blogspot.co.uk/">The Studio</a> was about food, a nice easy one to create a layout about food especially as I make lots of cakes so it had to be about one of those!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I chose the Avengers cake I mad my nephew for his 5th Birthday, he wanted all the Super Heros on it which was a challenge but with the way his face lit up when he saw it, it was definately worth it!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Back on to my best white cardstock as I have finally stocked up with it again!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
You can check out all the design team's makes for the challenge <a href="http://thestudiochallenges.blogspot.co.uk/2015/06/21st-june-food.html">here</a>. You can also see a sketch I made for the previous challenge, I'm hoping to make a layout with it soon as I didnt manage to make it for the challenge so I will be back to show you it.</div>

About time I shared something again on here! A quick layout I made a few weeks ago of my nephew with gel in his hair.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I have a craze of making layouts on white cardstock ALL the time at the moment as I like how bright colours look on white, so I was pushing myself to use other colours as I'm running low on white! So what other colour to go to? Black!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I started by using a stencil of small crosses with white paint to make it really stand out, I was pleased with how it turned out as it added pattern with being patterned paper. Then I cut some triangles out in contrasting yellow and created a small cluster and then added some ribbon and Thickers is the same colour of my nephew t-shirt. And you cant go wrong with a few paint drops!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbBxMrBBk_1xZD7F4V7KA8J_0RbGFFky50RtUfRW7eor63czdVTVplqRqhQQ204wkgUCISZ7vMYwUB9hHbG71YV7Hc3hVIlJXLEfnxhbLkXn11cDYuHoxnHSLv3y5UOjEEM54QuNOZNvY/s1600/Party+Hair.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbBxMrBBk_1xZD7F4V7KA8J_0RbGFFky50RtUfRW7eor63czdVTVplqRqhQQ204wkgUCISZ7vMYwUB9hHbG71YV7Hc3hVIlJXLEfnxhbLkXn11cDYuHoxnHSLv3y5UOjEEM54QuNOZNvY/s1600/Party+Hair.jpg" width="626" /></a></div>
Quick and easy but quite effective!<br />
<br />
I'm just back from a nice relaxing holiday in Croatia, it was great to get away from it all and stare at the beautiful sea!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGRog3319bNaaZQgE-hN0KU03WXREEckTxg0IYGePN30gtIruXH2D9fSVlv3kwnYs7AxUlFUtayIEo964uQCfr_uoD4Ay_8jg9WS8-bzYQ_ocQQqkBml0G0Ji60jYh9e2_CRY4ArJVuuI/s1600/DSCN5458.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGRog3319bNaaZQgE-hN0KU03WXREEckTxg0IYGePN30gtIruXH2D9fSVlv3kwnYs7AxUlFUtayIEo964uQCfr_uoD4Ay_8jg9WS8-bzYQ_ocQQqkBml0G0Ji60jYh9e2_CRY4ArJVuuI/s400/DSCN5458.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Bliss! Wish I was there for longer!</div>

<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">There's another new challenge over at <a href="http://thestudiochallenges.blogspot.co.uk/2015/03/29th-march-spring-pin.html">The Studio</a>, there happened to be three challenges in March. For this one it has a Pinterest Challenge and I picked a lovely spring pin to inspire everyone. The design team did a great job with it and as I picked it I had to join in with it! Here's my take...</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8sl93MWjp7xzPfmaxlj44otcRXvaOTBtAOHmDxxyLpFsGKIGhanfu3K5V12vTTEL2ltKeApPxpMUhkV5AL7LHJogx8VE_O6CLQm_aLUYRWtIXaXwnMbIrAFpKtrrQcqGEiQZtsgF1Etw/s1600/Springs.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8sl93MWjp7xzPfmaxlj44otcRXvaOTBtAOHmDxxyLpFsGKIGhanfu3K5V12vTTEL2ltKeApPxpMUhkV5AL7LHJogx8VE_O6CLQm_aLUYRWtIXaXwnMbIrAFpKtrrQcqGEiQZtsgF1Etw/s1600/Springs.jpg" height="640" width="634" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">I took inspiration from the photo with the wheel of the bike which created the circle, the flowers and colours and the bike itself! I managed to find a great little stamp of a bike to add to my page which was prefect! It felt good to make this layout and create again, I dont seem to have the time at the moment with my course but I miss it!</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhplr9stH9UAG9Y_7ZEI06wzPAZnePH79519W8MSVq6mi-HhHaEXh_yDFn7ZDFwhqYktOfklblVHxSKIscNNR2Sey67R2LdQxGoaM4BdBtEAHiO0lqJS8bOnTZTrErWXBd3p7XqxZmYT5s/s1600/Springcloseup.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhplr9stH9UAG9Y_7ZEI06wzPAZnePH79519W8MSVq6mi-HhHaEXh_yDFn7ZDFwhqYktOfklblVHxSKIscNNR2Sey67R2LdQxGoaM4BdBtEAHiO0lqJS8bOnTZTrErWXBd3p7XqxZmYT5s/s1600/Springcloseup.jpg" height="400" width="300" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">Go over to The Studio to see the pin and the great design team inspiration.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">Thanks for looking! xx</span>Annahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10656401607918487782noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6607776768419385278.post-88758164759968258672015-01-27T13:02:00.003+00:002015-01-27T13:02:32.107+00:00Fingers<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I'm finally back after dusting this place off! Don't know where the time goes! Lots happening but no time to blog it! Anyway we've got some catching up to do, including my Christmas journal, which still isn't finished, but it will be! First up a couple of layouts from <a href="http://thestudiochallenges.blogspot.co.uk/">The Studio.</a> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This was my take for the <a href="http://thestudiochallenges.blogspot.co.uk/2015/01/18th-january-clear-up.html">challenge from 18th January</a> which was to clear up your desks, have you got things laying on your desk that need to be scrapped? If you have, now is the time to use them! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg89LWRt6CQ5NNEBb7dsnBli23AdOvwEd_fBTP9FVb7Cprg_izdgL3kBIPTRw-M23RhGGiVqZi8EecfbpDxFNAs8gpqcXbpxF8PU9Hr2Bdst7YPfDIqkBT4AFgGxqd-pG5zWDh9gpqoj74/s1600/Thosefingers.jpg.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg89LWRt6CQ5NNEBb7dsnBli23AdOvwEd_fBTP9FVb7Cprg_izdgL3kBIPTRw-M23RhGGiVqZi8EecfbpDxFNAs8gpqcXbpxF8PU9Hr2Bdst7YPfDIqkBT4AFgGxqd-pG5zWDh9gpqoj74/s1600/Thosefingers.jpg.jpg" height="640" width="488" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
One of my gorgeous nephews! He doesn't stuck his thumb like most children but his two middle fingers! I've had this photo laying around waiting to be scrapped for his album to a while, it needed to be scrapped so I'm glad it now is! You have until 1st Feb to enter the challenge. We are also having a <a href="http://thestudiochallenges.blogspot.co.uk/2015/01/the-studio-design-team-call-2015.html">design team call</a> for The Studio Challenges I looking for some great scrappers to join our team so please check that out if you would like to be part of a great team!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The next layout I made for The Studio ages ago and never got around to blogging, sorry for the poor photo. The was for our mixed media challenge at The Studio from <a href="http://thestudiochallenges.blogspot.co.uk/2014/10/26-october-mixed-media.html">26th October</a>.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQEPh0n-hJPqZpsnNktdcimbAAztcspenqSjrMci4c9OTHSlZq9PZmhUDps8zKNFGENWpER3upB75tnuenwtPTch8mQ4idKduipmawiZf-vY_Dw2tuPMrd8wNRfjxpTSFK8Y09enQBoNs/s1600/Yarnbombed.jpg.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQEPh0n-hJPqZpsnNktdcimbAAztcspenqSjrMci4c9OTHSlZq9PZmhUDps8zKNFGENWpER3upB75tnuenwtPTch8mQ4idKduipmawiZf-vY_Dw2tuPMrd8wNRfjxpTSFK8Y09enQBoNs/s1600/Yarnbombed.jpg.jpg" height="640" width="632" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I loved this challenge as I love mixed media, it was good to get all my stamps, paint and stencils out!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
That's it for now, hopefully it wont be so long until the next time! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Thanks for looking! xx</div>

</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
At <a href="http://thestudiochallenges.blogspot.co.uk/2014/09/28th-sept-scraplifts.html">The Studio</a> on 28th September our challenge was to scrap lift one of our follow design team members. It was tough as I love my design teams creations but in the end I picked Cari's Selfie challenge layout. I love Cari's style and especially loved this layout and as it was sadly her last challenge with us so it had to be her! Make sure to go to The Studio to see the rest of design teams lifts, they are great!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This was my take on it:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj76QQjYhAYCLOv2tKbyp51A4qDrfNcTtHtWeHEF6CTKLeopqaOAwT4VWLpwRq9AiVBYqyhrKXh8kNGMts9naBg78pqZHLr9D8u5Hwg0sv8f50jj6Wn49aHChZfAihl5CMJSGLGrh71DPQ/s1600/cousins2.jpg.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj76QQjYhAYCLOv2tKbyp51A4qDrfNcTtHtWeHEF6CTKLeopqaOAwT4VWLpwRq9AiVBYqyhrKXh8kNGMts9naBg78pqZHLr9D8u5Hwg0sv8f50jj6Wn49aHChZfAihl5CMJSGLGrh71DPQ/s1600/cousins2.jpg.jpg" height="640" width="632" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I used stars instead of triangles that Cari used but still raised some up, I kept the place of the triangles, the ink splatters and I used twine in place of the thread. The photo is of my two smallest nephews playing on the beach together, I love this photo it looks like they are up to mischief!</div>
Your challenge is to scraplift one of our scraplifts, you only have until first thing Sunday so you better get busy if you want to join in!<br />
<div>
Thanks for looking xx</div>

Kat is part of my great design team at <a href="http://thestudiochallenges.blogspot.com/">The Studio</a>, I love her clean and colourful style, do go and check her out.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><strong style="background-color: white; color: #222222; line-height: 18.4799995422363px; text-align: justify;"><br /></strong>
<strong style="background-color: white; color: #222222; line-height: 18.4799995422363px; text-align: justify;">1. What am I working on right now? </strong></span><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #222222;"><span style="background-color: white; font-family: inherit; line-height: 22.0287952423096px;">My nephews scrapbooks. I am creating scrapbooks for them as I did for my first nephew when he was born. But having two nephews just over a year ago with only 3.5 weeks between them, its hard to keep up, they are learning new things everyday! I'm doing one in 8.5 x 11" so it is a bit different from the other, here are a couple of pages from it:</span></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="line-height: 18.4799995422363px;">Longer than I would like, I'm a bit of a perfectionist! Though I do like being </span></span><span style="line-height: 18.4799995422363px;">freer</span><span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="line-height: 18.4799995422363px;"> with paints. It must be over an hour. I love the creative process and trying different things out. </span></span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><strong style="background-color: white; color: #222222; line-height: 18.4799995422363px; text-align: justify;"><br /></strong>
<strong style="background-color: white; color: #222222; line-height: 18.4799995422363px; text-align: justify;">3. What are my favorite things to create with at the moment?</strong></span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; line-height: 18.4799995422363px; text-align: justify;">Its got </span><span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; line-height: 18.4799995422363px; text-align: justify;">to be white card stock, I do try to use other colours but I love using colour and they always seem to look better on white! The other things has to be paint must of my layouts usually have some paint on them, then there is Twine, and buttons too!</span></span><br />
<br />
<strong style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; line-height: 18.4799995422363px; text-align: justify;">4. How does my writing/creative process work?</strong><br />
I also take the photo first and see where it will take me!<br />
I think it important to have some journalling on my layouts, for generations to come to read what's going on or where or who we are! I do always get near the end of my layout and then think 'where am I going to put my journalling'?! So I do find it hard sometimes to fit it in but I do!<br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; line-height: 18.4799995422363px; text-align: justify;"></span><strong style="background-color: white; color: #222222; line-height: 18.4799995422363px; text-align: justify;">5. How do I become inspired and stay inspired?</strong></span><br />
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: inherit; line-height: 18.4799995422363px; text-align: justify;">There's always inspiring things around! The main way for me must be Pinterest and other scrappers blogs but also pictures, adverts and the photo itself may trigger an idea, feel or style to try out.</span><br />

<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; line-height: 18.4799995422363px; text-align: justify;">That's a hard one as I don't think I really have one, I just go with it! My layouts have to have lots of colour in them and I like patterns and paint and clustering embellishments to add detail but also like some white space so I would say colourful with an arty twist!</span> These layouts are some of my favourites so you get an idea but there not always like this!</span><br />

I don't know where the time is going lately I've started a course so Ive been busy studing , first assignment in and passed so its going well!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Anyway a few weeks ago the<a href="http://thestudiochallenges.blogspot.co.uk/2014/07/6th-july-stamping.html"> 6th July challenge</a> at <a href="http://thestudiochallenges.blogspot.co.uk/">The Studio</a> was to use Stamps on your layouts so I painted some card and added a few mixed media details and a few stamps and then used a flower stamp to stamp flowers on to it and cut them out.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhRZjQwfJ0l69BAVAQIKGj9Mh-0ZFZMjC3Kcv0gnrdda8gf0ZVPwD06yKXCRa4gcUlboAWa7MYGxnhaVoSpxzorqtGCy5u9V3vW85AbcNkVrHJL-6MyJiYNanB_fyzqn4Jq4De4bF-N3-k/s1600/Tropicalcolour.jpg.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhRZjQwfJ0l69BAVAQIKGj9Mh-0ZFZMjC3Kcv0gnrdda8gf0ZVPwD06yKXCRa4gcUlboAWa7MYGxnhaVoSpxzorqtGCy5u9V3vW85AbcNkVrHJL-6MyJiYNanB_fyzqn4Jq4De4bF-N3-k/s1600/Tropicalcolour.jpg.jpg" height="630" width="640" /></a></div>
I then created a bit of a mixed media background using paint, mist and more stamps and lined up my flowers down the side of the photo. I think I used about 6 different stamps in the end. The design team did a great job with the challenge to so make sure you take a look!<br />
This weeks challenge at<a href="http://thestudiochallenges.blogspot.co.uk/2014/07/15th-july-sketch-colour.html"> The Studio</a> was a bit special as we partnered up with Stuck?! sketches to do a joint challenge we provided a lovely bright colour palette and they provided a lovely sketch for us to use. The design team did a great job again but I didn't manage to make a layout for this one. If you use both parts of the challenge you can link up to both sites and be in for winning both prizes! This month we are sponsored by <a href="http://www.washitapes.co.uk/">Washi Tapes </a>you could win £15 worth of tape, how good is that?!<br />
Thanks for looking! xxAnnahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10656401607918487782noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6607776768419385278.post-14733264392692360812014-06-30T21:25:00.000+01:002014-06-30T21:28:30.782+01:00Project life Inspired<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Remember me?! Thought it was. About time I showed you this layout I made for 8th June challenge at<a href="http://thestudiochallenges.blogspot.co.uk/2014/06/8th-june-project-life.html"> The Studio!</a> Don't know where that time has gone! Anyway the challenge was to create a project life inspired layout without using the pockets.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjn_sVO8Bh79hHK_Nq0MgEJ4Bsa_sjZQ4Dtgta48X60BfvM1rKUeMl4m4X5e3_VESftpqhEdBdla9xamOOf_1bnURPAk6VqrPRDifxP0B2rwQ0emWPoCaCUio4WQ1eA7Sq34cTpe9lPfmY/s1600/Project+life.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjn_sVO8Bh79hHK_Nq0MgEJ4Bsa_sjZQ4Dtgta48X60BfvM1rKUeMl4m4X5e3_VESftpqhEdBdla9xamOOf_1bnURPAk6VqrPRDifxP0B2rwQ0emWPoCaCUio4WQ1eA7Sq34cTpe9lPfmY/s1600/Project+life.jpg" height="640" width="640" /></a></div>
Luckily I got some Project Life cards to my normal scrapping just before this challenge so I used those for a layout about my Birthday gifts.<br />
I've never made a Project life layout before but I have always been quite interested in them so it was good to try it out!<br />
You still have until 6th July to join in with this challenge at The Studio!<br />
Thanks for stopping by!<br />
Back soon!xxAnnahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10656401607918487782noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6607776768419385278.post-66896125924390869812014-05-25T15:12:00.003+01:002014-05-25T15:12:44.327+01:00Sister Selfie<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I'm back after a break from blogging, no excuses as I have got things to share!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Todays challenge over at <a href="http://thestudiochallenges.blogspot.com/">The Studio</a> is all about Selfies as there seems to be quite a craze about them at the moment. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The challenge fits perfectly with a photo from my trip to Spain a few weeks ago, I was getting my sister into taking selfies of us and this was my attempt to show her how its was done! We had a great time trying to take them and I think I've got her hooked!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfgAstWZO-9bj89E_1lVlJb5viTF6zh2HtZMA_YEZa_f0S1uIXonNdDgdZzBd2rK2p2q16B62nuceinq4aYyW0WwFmU_mcyL2fSA-aqOr7c1KoesjhyphenhyphenSkLyJN2lIs2xqTPTGJmaFpYkbw/s1600/Selfie.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfgAstWZO-9bj89E_1lVlJb5viTF6zh2HtZMA_YEZa_f0S1uIXonNdDgdZzBd2rK2p2q16B62nuceinq4aYyW0WwFmU_mcyL2fSA-aqOr7c1KoesjhyphenhyphenSkLyJN2lIs2xqTPTGJmaFpYkbw/s1600/Selfie.jpg" height="636" width="640" /></a></div>
I went with lovely bright tropical colours to go with the sunny photo, I used some sequin waste as a mask for the pink paint and some yellow mist for the drops around.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh8avE2xjvzFtF5G2kabxxarQZ3hvqPNtyaOFp6kZMv_u6j1picMdQQ7iWEKx97dO9uQIAp7L6ZsPx1XfNBb7IoA9ZbMt7OEilJqcKrEKdGArwtY9lJhgzin4H1XRCrJ8jftOTqsA5ChjA/s1600/DSCN2847.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh8avE2xjvzFtF5G2kabxxarQZ3hvqPNtyaOFp6kZMv_u6j1picMdQQ7iWEKx97dO9uQIAp7L6ZsPx1XfNBb7IoA9ZbMt7OEilJqcKrEKdGArwtY9lJhgzin4H1XRCrJ8jftOTqsA5ChjA/s1600/DSCN2847.jpg" height="640" width="480" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Make sure you check out <a href="http://thestudiochallenges.blogspot.com/">The Studio blog</a> for the rest of the DTs takes as there's lots of inspiration from them.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
I'm sure this is the first of any layouts from our brilliant trip to Spain and I'm thinking about making some kind of travel journal from it too, Ill have to have a look and see what I come up with!<br />
