Ruffles and Reading

It's been a busy week and I haven't been feeling the best so I haven't been doing that much when I wasn't busy but I do have a couple of pages I thought I would share with you!

Today's challenge at The Studio was a sketch with a twist to use ruffles on your page. Here's what I came up with!
I decided I was going to use material on my layout to make the ruffles I just pushed it through the sewing machine so it bunched up, I pleased with how it worked.
I took the photo at the farm shop up the road from us I loved the way the chickens were sat on the fence in the sun!
Go and check out what the other ladies created, it's amazing how different all the layouts are from the same sketch!

I tried to have a bit of a sort out of my papers last weekend but didn't really get that far so I started making this layout instead! It's one of those layout that really doesn't photograph very well, whatever I try I can't seem to get it straight! You get the idea anyway!
Lot's of scraps of paper and machine stitching on here! I sewed around the photos in blue thread and along the papers in white thread. I also stamped some random letters around the page with my little letter stamps.
I have also started my first crochet project, which is exciting! I am making a baby ripple blanket, it's going quite well but more on that when I've got a bit more to show!

Hopefully I'll be back soon with more, I have quite a lot of crafting planned for this week!
Hope you've all had a good weekend!
Thanks for looking xx
