Going Green

I don't know where the time has gone, can't seem to blog at the moment! Anyway thought I'd better update you with The Studio Challenges, two to catch up on!
I'll start with the most recent on, 13th October was to create a Monochromatic layout, we the DT, all tried to pick different colours, to show how each colour worked, I went with green! I really enjoyed making this one, I liked to fact I just had to pick out green papers and embellishments and couldn't get tempted by all the other colours!!! The greens worked perfectly with this photo I took on holiday in Spain of a lovely view.
This month's sponsor at The Studio Challenges is Teresa Collins Stampmaker.
Manufactured by Photocentrics whom also manufactures clear stamps.

The Stampmaker is the perfect tool if you like to design your own stamps.

One lucky winner will get one set of stamps (size A6) of their own design. You could make one single size A6 stamp or several smaller that fits in that size.

The Stampmaker tool is available all over the world. You can find it at Hobby Craft.
You can also order your own clear stamps at Photocentrics.

So its worth going to look at all the DT's takes on this challenge as theres extra inspiration with the new DT members and also joining in with the challenge so you could be in with a chance of winning this prize! I hope the see your enteries!

The next one that I didn't show you was 29th September we had to create a grid layout. This one also happens to be green!
I find grids are great for layouts with lots of photos so I used photos from a day out as I had quite a few nice shots to use, other than that I kept it quite simple. It has got a white border around too it but it doesn't show up on here!
I made my own journaling spot and fabric embellishment for it!
That's those caught up on, hopefully I'll be back with this Sunday's challenge a bit sooner!

Thanks for looking! Xx

  1. Great layout both Anna! I have to admit, although I like green as a colour, I find hard to work with it... Both your layouts are great inspiration!
