Crocheted Scarf

Just popped in to show you the scarf  I crocheted for my Brother-in-law for his Birthday. I found a pattern on Pinterest for it, not that there is much pattern as you make it as long and wide as you like!
I made a little label to pin on it!! I picked colours I thought my BIL would like and made it really quite long, (I lost count of how many chains I did!) as he is tall and quite thin as he likes it thin!!
It was a lovely quick and easy project to make!
Back with more soon! xx

Spring Zing

This is my new embellishment kit called 'Spring Zing' from The Make and Create shop. It's a spring inspired kit in zingy colours!
This is a layout I made from it, I only added a little bit of patterned paper and some Thickers, (I think these are one of my favourite Thickers ever, love them and of course sparkly!!) Everything else is from the kit.
I used the big butterfly shape as a template and used a paint dabber to go around it. I flatterned the mini cupcake cases and added punched scalloped circle to the middle.
I included some of my handmade crocheted flowers to the kit, love how they look, might have to use them more often!
I've also started selling some of my hand crafted earrings in the shop too, here's a couple of the Earrings already in the shop and I'll be adding more soon!

I had another cupcake order at the weekend as we were talking about pretty thinks I thought I would end the post a photo of these! As you can never get enough cupcakes can you?!
Back Soon! xx

Moonlight

Today's challenge at The Studio was to use a song title I choose Can't Fight The Moonlight by Leanne Rimes, as I like the song and it went well with this photo I took of the moon and it's reflection on the sea.
Sorry about this photo it makes the title look wonky!!
Quite a simple layout as I wanted the photo to be the main focus but I do like the paint effect on this one!

If you join in with either of this months challenges at The Studio you could win a £10 voucher for Craft Island to spend on their online shop so go and check it out!

I've got quite a lot of other things to share as I finished quite a few crochet projects recently and another layout  to share so I'll be back soon with those!
Thanks for looking! xx

Jack In The Box

I'm a bit late blogging this, it's one of those weeks where I don't really know what day of the week it is!!! Anyway for this weeks challenge at The Studio, we came up with a list of items to include in your layout. They were ink, kraft, twine, washi tape, diecuts and a star. You have to use at least 3 of the list but you do get extra points for using them all :0)
I enjoyed doing this challenge, it was fun having things to include! I managed to get all of the list in my layout. I used an old credit card to add some red paint to the back and I outlined everything with black ink. Two of my favourite things, (if you haven't guessed already!) are twine and stars so they were easy and I love washi tape too, I've just bought some new ones as a little Birthday treat to myself, can't wait to use them! I then added a kraft tag and a die cut journalling spot and that was everything!
The photos are of my nephew pretending to be a Jack in the box, what fun you can have with an old cardboard box?!!

The Studio's sponsor for this month is Craft Island if you enter you could win a £10 voucher from them to spend in their shop! How good is that?!
Go and check out what the rest of the design team did, it's great to play find the items on the layouts!!

It was my birthday on Sunday, I had a nice relaxing day with my brother and nephew and my mum made me a cake which was lovely. I had my Birthday treat on Thursday night as we went out for tea and then saw the show Top Hat, it was brilliant, lots of great dancing and funny too!

Hope you're having a good week!
Thanks for stopping by! xx
